3 Continue to pay interest only on the Professional Edge Student Personal Line of Credit, up to 24 months after graduation from an accredited Canadian medical or dental school, or up to 12 months after graduation, residency or articling from other qualified CIBC Professional Edge studies.

4 Provided you apply and are approved for a Professional Edge Student Line of Credit. Eligible programs include: medical and dental. 7 Fees charged by other financial institutions or third parties for using their ATMs, and the 2.5% administration fee on the converted amount for foreign currency ATM withdrawals, aren’t included in this feature and will be charged to your account. ATM withdrawal amounts may be limited to a maximum dollar withdrawal amount.
8 Excludes stop payments on pre-authorized debits and recurring payments set up using CIBC Advantage Card details. To stop payment on these, you need to contact the merchant, biller or payee directly to instruct them to discontinue applying charges to your account(s) through your CIBC Advantage Card. If you’re unsuccessful in resolving the issue, CIBC may be able to work with Visa to request a refund for you.

10 Interest rates will change from time to time on at least 30 days prior notice to the primary cardholder. “Purchase” means card purchases less returns and doesn’t include: cash advances, interest, fees, balance transfers, payments and CIBC Convenience Cheques. “Cash” means cash advances, balance transfers and CIBC Convenience Cheques.
11 The rebate is also available for cardholders with the following CIBC credit cards (these credit cards aren’t available for new clients): CIBC Aventura® World Mastercard®, CIBC Aventura® World Elite® Mastercard®, CIBC Aerogold® Visa* and CIBC Gold Visa* Card.
